COHEED AND CAMBRIA REUNITE WITH DRUMMER JOSH EPPARD, ENTER STUDIO TO RECORD NEW ALBUM!

–By Nick

All of you among the fence, today is a wonderful day!

Today on wednsday, november 16 2011 Coheed and Cambria posted on their main page with really exciting news: the band has reunited with ex-drummer Josh Eppard, and have completed 3 songs on their next full-length album! Here’s a statement from the band:

“As the songs for the new record began twisting into shape, it slowly became apparent that these songs were very dynamic, and could truly flourish with the groove-oriented approach that Josh naturally brings to the table. We also missed Josh as a person -what he meant to us as friends and the energy and humor he exudes. But this isn’t about nostalgia; it’s about who we are now, and what we can achieve musically and as a family, together going forward.”

I personally couldn’t be more excited to hear this news. I believe that Josh was a important ingredient to what made Th Coheed and Cambria as a soup so goddamn delicious. Not to mention of the 2 times I have gone to see them, I have yet to see Josh up on that stage.

So everyone, Man your own  jackhammers. This is going to be one wild ride.
